OK, I do have an AP English-related post this time, but it's not about my books!
My dad and I were in Indianapolis because we were delivering my Eagle Scout application. After we were done with that, we went to the Art Museum, and we saw the original manuscript for Jack Kerouac's On the Road. I think old Jack might be insane. He taped a lot of pages together and typed up his book as one extremely long scroll. It's 119 feet long. Due to space concerns, they can only display 84 feet of it at one time. You can also see his corrections penciled in. Just thought that might be of interest to anyone who did Beat Generation for the Research Project of Death.
I may be getting my Eagle Scout board of review next week. Wish me luck.

P.S. Guess the title quote. It's from a late-80's movie. If you either didn't see this movie, or you didn't like it, then you have no soul. That's all I've got to say about it.

I haven't got a clue what the title quote is, but my quote comes from a certain Pre-Algebra teacher in the junior high. She said it during an NJHS meeting.
The title quote is from Ghostbusters. It's the company slogan. Great movie.

I went and saw the scrolls, too! He wasn't insane... just really high most of the time. He was big into speed... can you tell? Did you like the photographs on the walls? I loved those... so interesting.
It gave me a ton of respect for Jim Irsay... how many football types do you know who would drop a bazzilion dollars on something literary. I should make it extra credit to go see the scrolls.. what do you think?
Works for me. Admission is free. I personally think it means that Irsay has way, way too much cash to throw around.
But hey, there are worse things that he could have done with that money.

I've been playing Gradius III. It's an older game, but I downloaded it from the Wii's online store. The option may be the single best power-up in gaming. It is made of win.
I've got ABC on my TV. Bush is giving a press conference, and he sounds vaguely... intelligent? I'm scared...
I do not have the luxury of watching TV during 7-4 pm.

As for your quote, all I can guess is Garfield.
And no, I am not keeping track of E3. There are only a few games I am really concerned about: Spore (which I preordered), Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and that is about it (I loved Final Fantasy, but I could care less about XIII).
If something is BIG enough (like Mass Effect was), I will see it on a gaming site I periodically visit. Otherwise, I do not care much. I would care more, but I have enough right now.
